Cooking and Baking

Of course! Who doesn't love food?

Our most popular courses!

Everything from authentic vintage Pioneer recipes to new sugarless, flourless, keto meals. We cover all types of cooking, baking, and techniques. We are always trying new things and always learning new (and old!) ways of making the best food possible. We either use things we have here on the farm or items that are locally sourced from our wonderful neighbors. Everything is organic and pure, just as our great grandparents had it! We proudly share everything we know, and always welcome new information.

Daily Chores

The routine that will keep your farm running like a well oiled machine!

Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most.

Daily chores are an important part of farm life, and can often be over looked. All of our plants and animals need constant care, and that means we always have a list of things to do! From gathering eggs to stacking firewood, learn the basics of homesteading and what it takes to keep a farm running!

Animal Care

From basic feeding to advanced medical needs, you'll find what works and what doesn't here.

We have been caring for wayward animals since before we can remember. Everything from dogs and cats to rabbits, chickens, and even fox and raccoons. From domestic to agriculture to wild, we have done it all and seen it all. We have made every mistake known to man, and then some. We have witnessed miracles and tragedies. Here, we will teach you what works, and what doesn't. There are no stupid questions here, and we try to give as much working information as possible. Classes are listed with detailed descriptions so you know what you are getting in to!

Honeycomb

Bees,
Honey,
and Wax

Education, Care, Crafts, and Honey!

Find out what all that buzzing is about! Classes, demos, and craft time is available for all ages.

Learn about the lives of bees, why flowers are so important, go beyond just honey and wax, and explore all the ways that we (and the bees!) can use all this stuff!

Viewing the bees is seasonal, but learning and crafts can happen year-round. Opportunities are also occasionally present to start your own, or adapt one of our beehives! Honey and wax are always available for purchase.

Nature
Walks

Designed for All Ages!

Discover the quiet woods, tiny mushrooms, spring flowers, gentle streams, and more! Our outside walks are designed to showcase the wonder that is nature. Each walk or hike is age-appropriate, so there is an outing for every age group to choose from, all include a guide and naturalist.

Families and large groups are welcome when scheduled ahead, and we also can structure nature class field trips and merit badges.

Hot Shaped Metal

Blacksmithing
and
Welding

All materials are provided.

This is an outdoor activity and proper dress is required. Instructions will be given at the time of booking.
