Campground Rules
Let's face it, unfortunately not everyone is chill. So in order to make sure everyone has the best possible time while camping with us, we have outlined some basic rules on this page. Booking a reservation with us implies that you have read these rules and are aware and subject to them!
*Note: Public camping spots may also have their own set of rules, you will be given a set of those rules in addition as part of your instructions. If you violate any rules - ours or theirs - you will be subject to being ejected from your campsite (if already checked in) or a non-refundable forfeiture of your prepaid reservation.
Rules for Camping with us on Our Property
Booking a camping trip with us implies you have read these rules! However, just in case, we will provide you with a copy upon check in :)
Check in/out
The earliest you can check in is 1 pm the day of your reservation. The latest check out is noon the last day of your camp, and you must be vacated from that site prior to that time. All campsites must be left in the condition they are received in, and all trash must be carried out at the time of check out. Thank you so much for your attention in this matter.
Lights Out!
We know that people (and raccoons) like to hang out by the campfire all night, we get it. But! In order for everyone to enjoy their camp to the fullest, we ask that all loud noises and bright glaring lights in any camp be extinguished by 11 pm on all nights. If your camp is being loud or obnoxious in any way, we will have to deal with it and that's no fun for anyone involved, so please respect this rule - we think it is one of the most important!
Fire!
Speaking of campfires, please note the placement of the firepit at your campsite. NO fires are allowed outside of this firepit! NO EXCEPTIONS! This is for everyone's safety, and violation of this rule will result in an immediate non-refundable forfeiture of your camp, and no future credit will be issued. Fire is a serious risk, and instructions will be given upon check in. You are allowed to pick up sticks and dead wood off the ground to burn, but ZERO live trees or branches are to be cut or used in any way in your campfire. Seasoned wood can be purchased from us, if needed, unless included in your package. Outside firewood can be brought with you, but must be barkless to avoid bringing in pests.
Trash In, Trash Out.
While we do provide a dumpster for all guests to use, we do require you to take care of any trash you might generate at your campsite. Please bag up all trash and put it in the dumpster when checking out (if you haven't done it previous to this). It is a requirement that all sites are left exactly as they were when you got there. We feel like this is also an important rule. If we find that your site is left a mess after check out, you will be charged a clean up fee, and no one wants that.
Behave Yourself!
While we always do our best to keep unwanted scenes from happening at all, and that this rule seems like it should be a given, we have to put this one in writing, so here goes: NO unruly behavior will be tolerated! ZERO fights, persistent arguing, or other violent or potentially violent acts will be tolerated. Indiana is NOT a drug friendly state, also NO underage drinking will be allowed! NO crazy parties (outside of pre-organized events by us), and NO harassment, threats, or other unwanted attention - perceived or otherwise - will be tolerated. We are a family friendly G-Rated facility! If you are looking for an ungoverned place to run wild, this isn't it! Sorry, not sorry!
Foot Traffic Only.
We do not currently allow any horses or motorized vehicles in the campgrounds besides the one personal vehicle you arrived in, which must be parked in its designated area at all times. That includes, but is not limited to: no side-by-sides, no mopeds, no golf carts, and no motorcycles. Also, coming and going several times after "Lights Out" will also have to be addressed, as it can be disturbing to other campers. We do our utmost to keep the grounds clean, tidy, and pleasant, and feel like these vehicles would not help in that matter. We appreciate your help in this effort always. Accommodations for disabled persons can be made, please Contact Us.
Sorry!
No Pets!
We do not currently allow any pets at this time. We have had too many issues. You know the whole someone always ruins it for everyone else? Yeah, this is it. Well-behaved Service Pets may be an exception, but we will ask for your documentation in advance, and we must insist that you always clean up after them no matter where you are - no one wants to step in or have to avoid poo :(
Also, we must insist that your Service Pet not be excessively noisy or disturb the other guests. If your pet is properly trained as a true Service Pet, none of this should be a problem.
Please Contact Us with any questions or concerns.
Nature Disclaimer
If you are unfamiliar with the outdoors, then you should know that there are things that live out there. Thing like bugs and little animals. We cannot control nature, and therefore we must try to abide WITH nature. Having said this, you must know that All living things like food, and if you go camping then those thing might try to get your food. However, none of these animals are aggressive unless provoked. Please know that we take your health and safety VERY seriously and will provide help and education when it comes to these creatures. PLEASE DO NOT BE SCARED! These things are NOT out to get you, and they do NOT intend to hurt you. We promise that there are ZERO dangerous creatures on any grounds we set up camps on. As for mosquitoes and tiny midges, we can provide bug spray (included in non-food supplies), and if you follow our instructions then racoons should also not be a problem, through they are very curious and food-driven. We will NOT let you or them get injured. We understand all this may be a new thing for you, but we promise, if you are willing to be educated and follow instructions, then there will never be an issue! We also have RV "glamping" options available if you don't feel ready to handle all this. If you have any questions or concerns, as always, Contact Us.

Just Remember: "If you don't bother them, then they won't bother you."
Weather Disclaimer
We cannot control the weather. Simple as that. While we will check the weather ourselves, and will advise you of it, it is also your responsibility to know and accept the weather, whatever it may be. We are not liable for rain, heat, cold, or any other natural phenomenon. Extreme weather on the day of your camp will automatically cancel your camp (unless otherwise deemed by you), and you will receive a credit for a future camp (hopefully with better weather!) Please read the Cancelation and Refund Policy if you have any questions there. Thank you for your understanding.
Updates!
We reserve the right to change or add to these rules in any way we see fit at any time. Should the rules change during your stay, you will be immediately notified. Otherwise, it is your responsibility to be familiar with these, and any other rules, before checking in for your camping adventure. These rules are not meant to put a damper on anyone's fun or relaxation, on the contrary, we feel like these rules are here for the health, safety, happiness, and well-being of all of our campers.
